What does Obama face at the beginning of 2009 ?
King of Swords Reversed
Oh, the sharp and quick whit of the swords is coming through! Obama seems to have some goals in mind, but his focus needs to be a bit more fine tuned. He's looking in one direction when he needs to move his perspective around and look some others. Now, when I say look at some others.. I'm saying the cards are suggesting there are some members of the government and some big businesses that are a bit deceitful and may try to mislead him. I get the impression that some of these men have their own agendas and will try and dodge the truth or slightly redirect the focus of Obama towards their own goals.
It's good to see there are some goals there, but the reversed shows me that it will not be carried out quite in the way our dear new president hopes. He has to be careful to communicate, very clearly, what it is that he wants done...making sure others see his vision precisely how he intends to carry it out.
Put pen to paper! Obama needs to get his ideas down now! I also see this as a delay in the approval of the stimulus package he would like to put together, folks! A few more ideas and going over the fine 'lines' of the draft needs to be hashed out, but after that.. we should see the simulus package come out. I do believe it will becoming through the first half of the year... more towards May when we see the final details.
The reversed King gives us a hint of taxes dropping, but let's not be quick to celebrate, it's also letting us know about the falling market that he will have to attend to, will continue to fall in the first quarter of this year.
How will the end of the Year 2009 be for Obama?
Here comes the eight of swords. President Obama certainly has a lot of swords going
on ! Quite literally, it appears his hands are tied. What stands
between a raise in the housing market and his compassion to see it
rise, is the opinions of a great number of politicians and
businessmen that have a lot of stake in the market being down.
Believe it or not, it is a plus for some!
Towards the end of the year, Obama seems to begin to feel powerless. The government is a huge machine that one man has to fight against. Can he do this? They won't let him.. he's going to have to basically use mind games to swoon them over, and allow any anger flow from him like a waste product.. as that is all he's doing, wasting his time. These business moguls only respond to clear direct communication that includes their own visions not the desires of a compassionate president.
Advice for Obama to get through 2009 came from the combined cards of Temperance and the six of cups. This seems to be saying, sorta tongue and cheek, that he better hope that he has an angel in his back pocket!
Spirit Guides can be so humorous! On a more serious note!.. Temperance is suggesting to Obama that he must learn to balance what he wants to do within the limitations he can do, all the while keeping in mind who is friends with whom. I also believe these cards are suggesting that the war must end and find a way to bring civility and 'friendship' to the area and take care of the volatile environment. Bring home our troops and strive to make a home for the nations that have been left in turmoil. This isn't a completely popular opinion, but in the end.. peace will take hold and neighbors will love and be amicable again.

Strengths ? King of Swords Reversed
The King of Swords shows great leadership skills that tend towards being on the point and direct. I also feel that the King of Swords reversed is telling us that Obama is the type of man that not only thinks out of the box, but has a different type of strategy when delegating authority. I believe he is also holds the ability to transform his kingdom into a place that is more liberating. He truly feels what it means to be 'free' and I feel that he does wish to show America how to do things through some tough and strict decision making.
I also feel that the King of Swords reversed is telling us that Obama likes structure and routine but on the same token, he wants to try a new way of doing things. He also believes that if you struggle and stick with something, it can be turned around for the greatest good of all.
Weakness ? Queen of Cups Reversed
The Queen of Cups reversed is showing us that Obama is a bit sentimental. He may also have trouble seperating his heart from his mind. He thinks with his heart. While this isn't completely horrible, as he does have a heart. It may be difficult for him to make harsh but necessary decisions. I feel he will carry his work home with him. He will also care for how other look at him and wonder if they are judging him, at the end of the day. He is charismatic and a person that means well. But there may be some second guessing and some decisions based on emotion rather than logic.
Forward Vision ? Four of Wands
Again, this shows me that Obama hopes to mold America into a new nation and be celebrated, once again, as a great country. He has a large amount of pride, believe and motivation to carry our nation through this difficult time. It appears, from the four of wands, that we need to learn from where we went wrong, and then reformulate how we spend money, our health, and our spiritual concerns, and then regroup and move on. He wants this to be true reformation of our country. He wants us to regain pride in our country.
What he is bringing to office ? Judgment
Judgment tells me that Obama tends to be so involved and motivated into brining about change to the United States that he may not be listening to the needs of the citizens. This is where his own agenda may get into the way, or other's agendas get into his way. It's coming to mind.. the phrase, ' can't please everyone all of the time'.
I also believe he is bringing a very spiritual and religious approach to the way he governs the country. It's as if he wants to bring us to enlightenment. There is also a sense that he brings with him the ability to show others how to forgive America's past. He is all about wanting to move forward and wants to lift Americans from their pain and past embarrassments.
What we need to know about Barack Obama's Presidency ? 10 of Pentacles
It
seems we are to understand he will carry more than his share of burdens
and problems in this presidency. He is willing to do the hardwork, but
we need to be understanding as a nation, just what is in store for him.
He is trying to build a country from scratch and put new ideas and
projects out there. But, in all honesty, he can't see where he is
going, and he doesn't know if he is going about this the right way or
not. He just knows 1+1 = 2 and plans on doing just that. His intentions
are in the right place. He also seems to be focused on our health care
system, housing issues and our spiritual health. He is full of
confidence, esteem and motivation in order to move the United States
into the vision he sees for it. I do feel, however, that his vision may
be grander than his skills. This may be to his favor, though. He will
be able to use his imagination and think of unique ways to handle some
of the issues that will be brought to him.
Summary
Overall, I do feel things will be okay. I think personally, we'll see him go through bouts of energy drain. I also believe he will do his very best to bring the United States into a new era and move past racial lines. He speaks to everyone on some level and understands what hardship means. He hasn't forgotten what it means to struggle, even if he personally didn't, he remembers what he has seen of other people's struggles.
I also don't feel he has the skills needed in order to do what he wants, but he'll put people in place that appear to be more qualified. Even though he doesn't have the skills it takes, he isn't afraid of what he faces. He does understand the issues he may face and plans on working hard to move through them. I worry over some emotional issues that I'm seeing, particularly when I feel this is related to his mother or wife. I believe he may look to their approval in what he does. I believe they may also be wanting to share their view with him, but he wants to go it alone at times and just have their support.
All in all, if we even come close to his vision, there will be a huge change for the better. The United States will be taken to a new era of accomplishments and pride. Change is to come!
