Shining Out From the Dark

Long ago there seemed to be

a thick black cloud that covered me.

Never happy, when I got what I want

But how could I, when I wished for junk?

Chaos ensued when I so carelessly hurled,

Unclear thoughts, sent out to the world.

Then one day, the sun shown through,

very blessed to feel alive, I felt brand spanking new.

This happened the day I found my potential,

I believed in my skills 'til it became official.

I began to live life with the purest of heart,

beauty, honesty, happiness.. what a great start !

Living out the beginning of my dreams,

shining from me like brilliant light beams.

I hope to be an inspirational spark,

and help others creep out from under the dark.

My message is as follows,

to those that belly-ache their sorrows.

Negativity breeds the demons among us,

Positivity rings through as love from above us.
